On June 22, 2022, during a symposium between leaders from Fangshan District and the Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, it was proposed to “actively explore innovative development and operation models, further intensify the promotion of key cultural and tourism project construction by establishing district-level cultural and tourism platform companies, improve overall operation and management levels, and accelerate the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry in Fangshan District.” Against this backdrop, Beijing Fangshan Cultural Tourism Investment Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Fangshan Cultural Tourism Investment”) was registered and established in July 2022. Fangshan Cultural Tourism Investment is primarily responsible for the development, construction, operation, and management of cultural and tourism projects in Fangshan District, integrating and revitalizing cultural and tourism resources, promoting the deep integration of cultural tourism, creating key cultural and tourism industry projects, and establishing distinctive cultural and tourism brands.
